What data we process
This site has no forms or user accounts. We process the data you give us when you contact us by WhatsApp, phone, email, Instagram or Facebook (name, contact details and a description of your request), technical access data (IP address, browser) logged by the hosting service and, only with your consent, data collected by the measurement tools described below.
If you arrive at the site through an ad, the URL parameters (such as utm_source, utm_campaign, gclid or fbclid) are kept in your browser during the visit and may be included in the WhatsApp message, so that we know which ad led to the contact.
Purposes and legal basis
Replying to your contact and assessing your request (pre-contractual steps); ensuring the site works and is secure (legitimate interest); measuring visits and ad campaigns (consent, which you can withdraw at any time under “Manage cookies”).
Recipients
Data may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf: GitHub (site hosting), Google (only with consent, Google Analytics or Google Ads) and Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and, only with consent, Meta Pixel). Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Union, based on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Retention
Contact data is kept only for as long as needed to reply to the request and manage the service, or for the applicable legal period (for example, tax obligations). Third-party cookies are kept for the periods set by each provider.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to its processing, and withdraw consent, through geral@cuidoja.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD, cnpd.pt).
Cookies
Essential data is always used. Measurement tools are only activated after you click “Accept”, and you can change your choice at any time.
